Looks like the folks at Veggie Grill are listening to your comments! See note below:

Hi FOOD TRANCE! <<
Thanks for posting the clarification on your blog.
I noticed this comment from one of the guests on your blog: “It would probably be beneficial if on their website they included information stating that their menu items are free from eggs, dairy and such.”
Based on the comments from your blog, we will add some additional detail to this point on our next set of website updates (probably in a month or so).
Thanks again.

UPDATE! - 04-17-2008 1:23 PM PST
This place is NOT 100% VEGAN! What keyed me on this was the Bonterra Red Wine they serve. It contains egg whites! Go here to know what wines u vegans can drink.
I also talked to the manager today and I stated that your cashier told me your restaurant was VEGAN on Monday…. though you serve Bonterra red wine which contains egg whites. He statement was that ‘we don’t use animal products’. That’s a very generic answer my friend…..
I have also written headquarters today to ask about preservatives they use. This is a private company planning on going public. He asked if I would buy their stock…. My statement: ‘I’m a vegan’. Slim chance.
This is why I eat at home 99.9996% of the time. I know my recipes are vegan……
p.s. their salads can be vegan!!!!
ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
I’m visiting a client all week that has an office in El Segundo, California. I brought my lunch just in case there was not any vegan restaurants near by. I checked veggie paradise and looked under El Segundo. There was this place called Veggie Grill 2 blocks from their office! Holy krap it was amazing and I highly recommend it!
100 % Vegan, fast service, and great presentation. If you get on yelp and other review sites, read the happiness.
I’m eating here all week! Check out that nectar in the front with the black top! To bad she wouldn’t talk to me. Dirtiest look ever. Def. not a VEGAN. She’s to hip. Not hotttt. Thanks LA style<<<
